Child Care

The Child Care Ministry at First Presbyterian Church has been developed to serve the members of the congregation and surrounding community. While parents enjoy a break from parenting responsibilities, children are provided a safe, secure, loving and Christian environment with opportunities to socialize with others of a similar developmental age.

Please take a moment to follow the link and fill out our simple child information form.  This form is also available in the nursery.  We ask that each child has a separate form (siblings not on one form) and that you fill out a new form at the beginning of each school year.

Our Staff

Hello! My name is Stacey Erlenwein-Ramirez and I am the new Director of Child Care here at FPC.  First, I would like to say it is an absolute honor and privilege to be a part of this amazing church family and to care for your beautiful children.  I was born and raised in South Tampa, and am a 3rd generation graduate of H.B. Plant High School.  My husband and I moved to Saint Petersburg in 2004 and started our family.  We have three energetic boys, Roman 10, Gabriel 9, and Hartly 5 whom attend our beautiful historic North Shore Elementary School.  I have been on the PTA board for their school the last 3 years and am actively involved in fundraising and building PTA memberships along with volunteering my {free} time when possible.

I have always had so much love and patience for little ones and have spent much of my life taking care of children.  With my position here, I will always utilize my childcare skills to plan daily activities.  Watching children grow and learn is very rewarding.  My 3 boys along with my nieces, nephews and other children, inspire me every day.  There’s no greater feeling than the joy I feel when a child is happy and content in the moment, and this is the goal that I always strive for.  I treat all children, big or small, as if they are my own.  Taking care of children is my passion.  Even though I don’t have a “degree in childhood” I feel that my life experiences along the way have helped me become the woman, mom and teacher that I am today.

I am very excited to be part of a great team of caregivers that are here for you and your children.  I look forward to making new relationships with you all.  As the director of this beautiful center, my door is always open!  Please let me know what I can do for you and your child.
